"I love my new home! I can plant a garden, hang photos and come home and relax with no worries. I used to live in a one-bedroom house that was very small and a neighborhood that was not very safe. The rent increased from $275 six years ago to $650 per month, and I had to buy my own appliances. Now, I can breathe more easily and feel that my son is safe. I don't have much, but I have my son, our health and our home.
